Sometimes my periods are really painful and emotional but, sometimes they are SO easy! I'm 19 and I have had mine for about 7 years, and it has been this way for 7 years! Haha.

You might. My mom got her first period at 13 and I got mine at 12, also my maternal grandmother got hers at age 16. And, most of my friends got it at different ages than their mothers. So I say it just depends. You will get it when your body is ready :-).
