About Me:

Cory Cordes is a graduate of Dr. Susan Friedman's Living and Learning with Animals for professionals (LLA) and has completed the Animal Training and Management workshop for Professionals at Natural Encounters (NEI). Cory is currently a student of the Animal Behavior and Technology program (Dip.ABT) at the Companion Animal Sciences Institute (CASI).

Over the years Cory has has worked with many species of animals including parrots, birds of prey, horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, other exotic animals, and native Ontario wildlife. Cory is committed to using the least intrusive, most effective science based methods for behaviour change. Her areas of interest include teaching husbandry behaviours to animals, providing captive animals with environmental enrichment, as well as proper nutrition.

Cory is a professional member of the International Association of Avian Trainers and Educators (IAATE) and a member of the Association of Animal Behavior Professionals (AABP), the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT).
