Everfrost was killed in the cold Alterac Mountains, and his soul would not go into the depths of the underworld. He awoke, and was stranded in the freezing mountains for years. He bonded with the frost, and found his way out. He only found out that his time spent in the mountains gave him the power of frost. Frost, was in his veins.
