Dropping my 2005 F150 off at West Herr Ford for NY State Inspection. I do a video run down of all lights to make sure all things are functioning properly! I also tested the parking brake and return lever right before the video and it worked perfectly, but I wasn't thinking and should have videoed that too! If it wasn't working I would have took the truck home and repaired it myself and brought truck back.( I don't like others working on my brakes or messing with stuff that could cause problems down the line). I would much prefer that they said the truck needed a car wash at $150 dollars rather than them screwing up my axle. I replaced 2 brake calipers and all brake pads before the last NYS inspection so I know my breaks are OK! I know every thing's OK on my truck that could cause it to fail inspection! Except 2 tires are close if you don't follow the measuring rules and measure the side of tire worn from cornering.

Complaint to Ford: The West Herr Ford dealer removed my NY inspection sticker, held my F150 for ransom and insisted I get repairs on it not necessary for inspection under law but told by them wouldn't get sticker for inspection if they didn't do it. Extorted repairs out of me and then either did not do them or did them incorrectly because the new parking brake shoes where covered in axle grease when I took a look when I got home.( the same they made me pay to fix axle leak and new parking brake shoes to pass inspection). Also they sabotaged my vehicle and torqued the wheel bolts to 500 - 800 psi(150PSI normal), and it took me 4 hours to get off wheels and that broke 1 torque wrench, one craftsmen extension and one socket! So now I have 21 lug bolts that could fail at any minute. I'm out $600 plus for damages. Also just so you know when ever I have had a problem with these guys in past they just delete service from system so comment card won't come to me so they can rig their customer satisfaction ranking. When I get home I find that they torqued the lugs at 500 ft lbs ( not 150 ft lbs) and it takes my brother 4 hours to get the tires off and on the way I want them! I also I examine the work done and there is still an axle leak! It's still leaking onto the parking brake pads, and as far as I cant tell the only thing they did is what I figured they would do. Clean the grease off( they did this badly too) and replace the parking break pads on the right rear axle which are now covered in axle fluid. So for $600 and the biggest head ache in the world, I have a $21 dollar inspection sticker! And nothing else! I mean how simple is it. I come into your business and your don't rip me off and you treat me with the respect any customer that comes in should have and I don't expose every little crime you commit or every big crime you commit and we're finished,
but you want -a-be want to show every one what a fool want -a-be you are! If I where the cops I'd be pissed at you for screwing them over by not keeping your want -a-be ego in check,but in all honesty West Herr will still give the cops discounted auto repairs without your want -a-be ass there, but I can't see ICE and any police department with any integrity or common sense bringing their vehicles to West Herr while your still work there! That would only show they are a rat or a snitch or a Judas Cop or police department, but you living in Orchard park already know about that kind of police department.
