I think the car did have a nearly-stock interior and was street legal, but the drag passes are not made on pump gas so you're right about that. It can be driven on the street on pump swill though, just turn the boost down to almost nothing.

This car has no class to run in. Other drag cars of this level and build have rules and regulations to fill and competition on the circuit. This has none of that, its more of an experiment that nobody cares what the outcome is, its being done for its own sake.

These cars only have one gear and no actual gearbox, just a pinion gear and differential, but he had to make the commentary accessible to the layman.
