Thanks for the reply to my question about wild animals. I heard similar thing, although the hint of making yourself look bigger by opening your jacket was new to me and seems like a really good idea...

But I still hope that at least one of the outdoor-guys, which I posted my request to, will produce a video about that...

I know, that the chances of having problems with such animals are not very high because mostly the animals will just run away by just hearing you from afar, but it can still happen. My uncle was attacked by a rutting buck, when he was searching for mushrooms. One day when I walked through a forest there was suddenly a bull, that had broken through the fence of his paddock and was hinding in the woods.
And then there is always the danger of animals with rabies...
