If you want to disagree with what he said, by all means do so. But don't twist what he said into something completely distorted. Not only does it make what you said irrelevant, it also makes you look like an unintelligent person who can't understand their opponent's arguement propery.

You could turn that argument around in other ways.

i.e "Don't like polygamy? Then don't do it".

I think most rational people (including those in favor of gay-marriage) would see the error in your reasoning.

On the one hand, I don't understand how she can let them do this to her. On the other, many experiments (I am thinking particularily of the Stanley Milgram experiment) show that people will do all kinds of bizzarre things just because an authority figure says so.

Do the prefixes ("eu" and "dys") also apply to the terms utopia and dystopia? I thought they might be, but I am not sure since it is not spelled "eutopia".
