Jaegwon Kim, eh? I'm an undergraduate at Brown and focus on the sciences, but four of my friends have taken classes from Professor Kim in the Philosophy of Mind.
I'm more of a Wittgenstein fan... though funnily enough I moved away from logical positivism and prefer later Wittgenstein. Great work on youtube, BTW. |

Also, ContraWagner, you should consider turning your anthologies on Wittgenstein and others that consist of several videos into playlists.

I love your stuff. Keep it up.
@commenter below: Plantinga, Rea, and all the rest of the anti-naturalists are terrible philosophers in one regard. They pose interesting problems for naturalists to solve but their answers are pseudo-explanations. Is god really a satisfactory philosophical answer to anything? These are just remarks on methodology and metaphilosophy; by all means, you can come to believe in god through religious experience etc., but god is no explanation or answer to a philosophical problem. -Mark |

I just wanted to applaud you for uploading such great content. Your breakdown of Wittgenstein was extremely useful, in fact I have decided to write my English lit Exam essay on the function of play in the work of the LANGUAGE poets. Come to think of it if you have any suggested readings for that I could really use some.
All the best for the future, Mike. P.S. Pay no heed to those leaving negative comments on your videos, you are doing the web a great service. |
