CONSTELACIÓN LATINA

Constelacion Latina was founded on March 17th 2000 in Cali, Colombia, by Alirio and Ana Cecilia Montezuma and is under the direction of Jhoanna 'KKO' Agudelo.

This Organization started with the unity of 2 neighborhood groups that gather their ideas with such styles as Charleston, hustle, etc, all to grow as a unique style to which is now recognized worldwide as the Caleño style.

KKO, mentor and director of the organization strives for perfection and agility at all times. Constelación Latina is formed by 10 couples of professional dancers that have been working in their individual styles for years. Newly added is also a team of three couples on the Junior category, kids under 12 years of age.

Constelación Latina endures rehearsals of at least 21 hours per week to be able to perform at different venues. In the last 8 years Constelación Latina has earn some of the most prestigious titles in their category and has toured Spain, France, England, Holland, United states and currently we're touring Colombia and just won the ESPN Qualifier for the 2009 World Salsa Championship in Florida, USA.
