I may be regarded as a conspiracy theorist, but I regard myself simply as one who thinks out of the box. It is always important to listen to oppsosing sides of a story equally and without prejudice. Both lapdog and watchdog media are arguably our single source of knowledge today. Just remember that when you watch or read what you perceive to be liberal, it is paramount that you do the same for the opposing conservative side. This way, when you draw your own conclusions, they are not influenced and or contaminated by one source of information.
Most mainstream media is controlled and owned by a handful of conglomerates. This means that independent media is often silenced by the larger companies whose sole responsibilty is to its shareholders. Good ratings, at the expense of morality, ethics or social responsibilty, will almost always translate into financial success or profit maximization for the company in question, unless the people stand up against it. I am neither against capitalism or free trade nor am I affiliated with any political party.
A word of caution. Beware of what you read or watch, particularly as it pertains to the extraction and dissemination of information, because a lot of it is economically, politically, racially, or religiously driven. And yes, even this profile must be scrutinized in the same way. Do your diligent research and try to find the truth for yourself...What more can you do?
