The thing most people are missing is that clear cutting (not for forest fires...) is in some cases a good thing, I'm in a highschool technical program and we just clear cutted a couple acres of younger hardwood and we have some amazing grouse and turkey habitat now.

@Guitararcher Your sounding pretty retarted. 1000 meters is a little over 1000 yards. Marine sniper's in training make a 1000 yard shot to graduate training school. It's impossible to shoot a M16 with Iron sights over or even near 1000 yards. Your target would look like a decimal.
