~Introduction~
I AM NOT A HERPETOLOGIST. Christ sakes, I'm in high school. People seem to want to make condescending comments about my knowledge (not sure if that's a YT thing or what...) but I thought I'd let everyone know that.
I don't even know what defines a herpetologist or an amateur herpetologist for that matter. I do plan on dedicating my life to the study and conservation of reptiles and amphibians though.

What you see here is a documentary collection of the reptiles and amphibians native to (mostly eastern) Kansas.

~Why~
Although I love nature in every aspect, I am extremely fascinated by reptiles and amphibians. They are are misunderstood creatures w/ reputations that are ridiculous...and wrong. For the most part, they're gentle, shy, and especially fascinating animals.

**Camera is fixed ~ expect videos of milk snakes, copperheads and softshell turtles in 2010! Well, don't count on softshells...but you WILL see copperheads and milksnakes in 2010. I will be looking for softshells though!
