About this user

I am the proud father of a teenage son with unbelievable musical abilities. He is a multi-instrumentalist and also a very funny guy. He brings much needed humor into the sometimes dark existence of this father; and his sense of irony is amazing for one so young. He has a future in the entertainment industry without a doubt! I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, wine, film, poetry and music. I read a lot of philosophy and political theory as well as theology and books on comparative religion. My musical tastes run quite eclectic. The only music I don't enjoy is heavy metal, rap and punk. I know I'm not the stereotypical anarchist, but stereotypes are just another visage to a conformist mind set anyway. The attempt to categorize and thus perhaps gain control or at least better predict that which should be neither categorized, controlled, or predicted. I like to travel as much as possible. By government standards (and of course government standard is the only standard that matters) I am homeless. That is a cause of celebration for me because it renders me somewhat invisible and invisibility serves a radical thinker well in a world where conformity is the order of the day.

I am also a theological non-realist and an anarchist. Having been a conservative Christian and Republican, this is quite a 180 for me. But I find myself much more comfortable living among the lovers of freedom and humanity as opposed to the misguided proselytizers of self-loathing, guilt-ridden, misanthropic, status quo keeping conformity. They are fearful and resigning lovers of slavery and oppression. Put me in the company of an atheist or freethinker any day over a Christian or Theist. Let me dine with anarchists and radicals rather than the privileged and powerful.

This site is dedicated to Freethinking, Anarchist, Agorist and Atheistic viewpoints. These are my viewpoints. I welcome both agreement and criticism. Ideas and arguments because that is the only way to gain knowledge as well as obtain ammunition to debunk stupidity.
