About Sheut Dusphoros
The sheut is the shadow. In the Ancient Egyptian beliefs sheut is one of the five parts of the soul. The shadow contains something of the one it represents and is always present. One cannot exist without it, and the shadow cannot exist without the person.
Dusphoros (hard to bear) is where we get the word dsyphoria from. Dysphoria is a unpleasant or uncomfortable mood, a state of mind. It is also a part of many psychological disorders or conditions.
