Every morning ConeyGurl wakes up, she stares at her ceiling, reading a sign with one of the numerous quotes she has written thatsays, Achievement of a being is derived from its souls willpower. If you dont want it, I will take it from you.. If I dont go get it, someone else will, ConeyGurl says. ConeyGurl is known for her charming personality, intelligence, laid back confidence, and remarkable talents. ConeyGurl has been producing music for 3 years. I dont even know how I know to produce music, I never listened to music when I was a kid and I didnt see my first video until I was fourteen, she says. ConeyGurl was born Brittany Shaelyn Coney in Gainesville, Florida on March 2nd, 1986. Brittany grew up in Plant City, Florida with her mother and grandparents. I lived in the pure country traveling on dirt roads, I use to pick and shell peas from my granddads fields, says ConeyGurl. After moving to Atlanta with her mother at the age of fourteen, the beginning of her musical talents begin to show its self. Brittany joined her high school marching band, playing the alto saxophone. After band practice one day, she met a rapper who was playing a couple beats that he made for some mutual friends. It was so fascinating to me that he made his own beats. I had never really thought about who was producing the music we listened to at all, ConeyGurl says. From that moment on, Brittany developed the love and passion for music production. That night I went home and downloaded Fruity Loops and the rest is history she says. After producing music for a couple of years, ConeyGurl obtained an internship at T.I.s record label Grand Hustle, later on becoming an assistant recording engineer. ConeyGurl has had the pleasure of producing tracks, recording, and or co-writing for artist such as Young Dro, Young L.A., Fantasia Barrino, Ricco Barrino, Alfamega, J.R. Get Money, Mullage, Xtaci, and P. Floata and has had tracks played on the Hot 107.9 A-team morning show birthday rhyme. ConeyGurl speaks of trade marking herself as not only one of the hottest female music producers but as one of the hottest producers to have ever lived. I have so many things to learn, so many galaxies with in my mind to explore. People say Im hot now, Im still a baby at this! She laughs sarcastically .Give me like 3 more years and try and tell me that again."
