id go with a springfield 1911 there not that high in price and you get the great quality!! i know the taurus has been getting good feedback with there 1911 but i think your taking a chance.springfields been making them forever and ya get the lifetime warrenty. i have a KIMBER,COLT and a SPRINGFIELD the springfield was the lowist price and its my fav 1911.ya just got to upgrade the mag. a KIMPRO an your good to go!!

U just sealed the deal my next handgun will b a Glock 17. But here in Los Angels the lowest price i found is $630 b4 taxes. Oh well still going to get it. great review
