I am a proud Persian (an Iranian). I believe in nothing but myself, my Iran and the fundamental beliefs in: Good Thoughts, Good Deeds, and Good Words (or as in Farsi: Pendareh Nick, Goftareh Nick, and kerdareh Nick).

I belong to all religions and to none. My blood is from Iran the motherland that I so dearly love.

I do believe in the following:

Never break an innocent heart
Never turn away from an innocent soul
Never make the eyes that gives you the light to see the joy cry for otherwise for every tear that drops you will cry a thousand tears.

The Iranian nation is crying a thousand tears every minute of every hour of every day for the past 1400 years and in particular since the mass national suicide of Islamic Revolution in 1357/1979. And they will continue to cry for generations to come. Our Iran is a lost cause. It is gone, and we - those of us who were blessed to grow up prior to the mass suicide Islamic Revolution of 1979 - now can only live it in their memories of what it was and what it could have been (as the Shah had architected and referred to as the Gates of the great civilzation or in Farsi "Darvazeh-hayeh tamodoneh bozorg"), and those who are born thereafter can only read (if they are allowed to read the truth) and only imagine in their most beautiful dreams of what Iran was and what it could have become.

It takes people to build a nation. And it is the nation that comes to utilize the motherland with which it is blessed. The majority of those living in Iran today (although far smaller than before) are regrettably not nationalists, but Islamists and religious fanatics. It is not Iran they love, or live for, or die for, but rather it is their interpretation of Islam that is driving them to love, live, or to die for.

Our motherland has been occupied by the forces of evil for the past 1400 years (and in particular since the national suicide of 1357/1979) disguised under a self-claimed religion they interpret as Islam. Their interpretation of the Islamic laws gives them the right to: Lie, Cheat, Kill, and destroy in the name of God and for his glory. This is evil at its worst for it has come to understand how to manipulate humanity using the very same god that defines it. Islam as interpreted (at least) by those occupying Iran and are in control of my sacred motherland is the disguise used by the evil to bring harm to this world.

Yes indeed Cho Iran nabashad, taneh man mabad (I will be none if there was no Iran). This is so true. And yet the Iran that I believe in is a kind nation that everyone, regardless of race, religion, sex, national origin, ethnicity, political views, or otherwise are respected. It is a nation in which all men, women and children are equal under the law. It is a nation that is known for its hospitality not for its hostility. It is a nation where everyone is respectful and tolerance of each other.

My Iran were to be a nation in which everyone would be judged based on the contents of their characters and not their political, religious, or personal ideologies or backgrounds.

I mourn the death of my Iran. I have been mourning for the past 30+ years for the death of Iran and I only live by the memory of what I have in my mind (and sometimes illusions).

I miss my Iran. Yes, indeed I miss my Iran.
