I am not overly patriotic
I am not a war mongerer
I am not even a born American

I am just interessted in world politics and the reason for my (seeming) obsession for the military can best be described by this quote:

"A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

Plus my family has a tradition in the military... Which I am hoping to carry on :)
