Hailing from Derry, N. Ireland, Codetta is a chamber choir of international repute, at the forefront of Ireland's music scene. A big hit at Europe's leading choral festivals, the choir is built not just on talent but also on dedication. Members are all born and bred in Derry travelling from all over Ireland, the UK and Europe (where they now live, work and study) to take part in intensive weekend-long monthly rehearsals.

Codetta have performed together for 10 years both locally and nationally, winning awards at the Sligo, Coleraine and Cork International Choral Festivals. On an international level, the choir has taken part in leading European festivals, such as the Advent Festival in Prague, the Toscana Music Festival in Italy and the Maribor Festival in Slovenia, one of the most prestigious in Europe, where they were ranked in the final four in competition.

In addition, Codetta make regular appearances on both radio and television. Most recently taking part in a BBC Radio Ulster broadcast with the Ulster Orchestra as part of a celebration of Derry being awarded the UK City of Culture for 2013
