you can make it keep the color that was on the screen before if you exit out of the color chooser by creating a temp color variable and placing it directly about the color chooser call

in the last update of java the 'paintComponent' method now needs an s on the end to make it 'paintComponents'

every tutorial more people fade away from these tutorials and only the serious learners are still here. sure we might not watch these as many times as a few of the hard ones, but over 100,00 difference in views...... that says a lot
