Unfortunately, I have decided to against put the project on hiatus after this video. The reason for this is because I have realized that I am actually not good enough at French to translate. While I can read and write fine, I have to translate by ear, and the characters are not speaking clearly enough to understand. I can rectify the slang using a dictionary, but they frequently slur their words together and talk too quickly (this being a kids' shows) for me to know which words are being said. This is why there is so much text onscreen for every short interval of speech.

I uploaded this to show how far I got. I got through the first scene without too many problems, but once I hit Odd and Ulrich's conversation it was over. You have to understand that I spent 3 hours AFTER the opening was finished listening to their lines again and again, not understanding and without progress, to finish two minutes of subs. Also, Odd's subs are wrong: I heard "Tu veras que je suis un garcon sympa y parcout plus discret qu'un tetrouille." French-readers will know that the second half of that makes no sense. It translates to "You will see that I am a nice boy there [gibberish] more discreet than a [gibberish]." And that's just one of many points.

If I can get someone who is willing to help me write the scripts, maybe a native speaker, I can publish some episodes. But even then, I was never planning to provide all 95 episodes subbed. I didn't really think I'd do more than one or two episodes before getting bored/busy, since this takes so much time. At most, I'd take a year to get the few episodes that progress the plot out. Sorry to all who enjoyed this, but I hope you enjoyed it. (And, as DandelionSteph pointed out to me, despite this being a French show, the English dub came out before the French one, making this redundant).
