Jim Davidson is a mountain climber and an inspirational speaker with Speaking of Adventure in Colorado. He is co-author (with Kevin Vaughan) of the riveting memoir "The Ledge: An Adventure Story of Friendship and Survival on Mount Rainier" (Ballantine Books/Random House, July 26, 2011). His story of survival and resilience was featured in the "Killer Crevasse" episode of "I Shouldn't Be Alive" (Animal Planet, 2011).

Blending his twenty-nine years of adventure with two decades of successful business experience, Jim distills hard-earned lessons that inspire organizations and professionals to overcome adversity, no matter how big the challenge.
As a climber and expedition leader, Jim has been on eightteen high-altitude peaks in Alaska, Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, Nepal and Tibet. His highest summit was Cho Oyu, the sixth highest peak in the world at at 26,906 feet.

As a keynote speaker, leadership development trainer, and teamwork facilitator, Jim Davidson has inspired corporations, associations and audiences at hundreds of events across the USA, New Zealand and Australia.
