You're thinking, "What a fantastic run home from work I'm having today!" then...
If he hit the brake he would have milliseconds to maneuver to the side of the airplanes front landing gear, after that he would have to center himself with the fuselage or else the rear landing gears would run him over. If I were him I woulda sped up and moved to the farsides. xD
