This album is leagues beyond Necrophagist in terms of technicality. Playing simple arpeggios and scales at high speeds is relatively simple for even an intermediate-skilled musician.

Spoken like an actual critic. As I review music I tend to look at each track and more importantly how it fits into the (hopefully cohesive) whole of an album. If it succeeds in those categories, it's a 10 in my book. That said I can't think of too many 10s, but they are out there.
