Recitation from the HOLY QUR'AN I take refuge from the evils of Satan In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (Al-Dukhan, Surah 44: Ayah 51-59) 51 Those who keep their duty are indeed in a secure place 52 In gardens and springs, 53 Wearing fine and thick silk, facing one another 54 This (shall it be). And We shall join them to pure, beautiful ones. 55 They call therein for every fruit in (a state of) security 56 They taste not therein death, except the first death; and He will save them from the chastisement of hell. 57 (These are) a grace from thy Lord. This is the great achievement (salvation). 58 So We have made it (the Quran) easy in thy tongue that they may mind. 59 Unbelievers) wait then: surely they (too) are waiting.

ÜÇÜNCÜ SELÂM_TÜRKÇE Mûsikîcim, baştan anlat sırrımı! Canları can kat da anlat öykümü!
_C. Tanrıkorur'un Türkçe nazmen meâli

THIRD SELAM_ENGLISH O musicians, repeat again our secrets; repeat again my life-increasing stories. Open the storehouse of (the verse), "Truly, We have granted victory" Repeat again the secret of the soul of the Chosen (Prophet)!
Oh, a thousand praises for a sultan as this! (For) those who are his slaves become kings and emperors. Today, whoever trustingly humbles himself before Walad will, If a poor man, become a prince (and) if a prince, will become a sultan. _[Turkish poem by Shamsuddîn Ahmad Aflâkî, d.1353]
No fire is ignited in our hearts except (by) Him, (and) no stage of ours is shortened except (by) Him. Even if all of the peoples of the world were physicians, They couldn't make a cure for our difficulty except (by) Him. O silvery chinned one, O stony-hearted one, O tulip-clothed one: be pleased with a glance at my heart nourished by sorrow. Even if this worn-down bodily form (of mine) is far from your lane, the dog is at your gate by night and by day. _above translations by Ibrahim Gamard
You are my master, if I command any respect in the world, It is because of you. If I have any fame among the lovers of God, It is because of you. The color of your beauty gives luster to this face without features. If ever spring comes to the garden of my imagination, It is because of you. Oh cup bearer! You have reddened my glass with my hearts blood! If by the red dawn I am intoxicated at the close of the wine-party, It is because of you. Oh Hazreti Mevlana, Ghalib takes refuge in you. If the tall cap of pride rests atop my head, It is because of you. _[Turkish gahzal by Shaykh Ghalib, d.1799]—translation by Walter Feldman

4/6 EVCÂRÂ MEVLEVÎ ÂYÎN-İ ŞERÎFİ 1. ve 2. Selâm -1st & 2nd Selams Poetry/ Güfte: Hazreti Mevlânâ Celaluddin Rumi Composer/Bestekâr: Cinuçen Tanrıkorur Opus/Beste No. 181, Konya, 1.8.1987 Mutrıb: Cinuçen Tanrıkorur-Ud, Neyzenbaşı-Murat S. BİRİNCİ SELÂM_TÜRKÇE Âşık oldur Rabbı tesbihden söz eyler durmadan Sâdık oldur vahye "lebbeyk!" der durur hiç sormadan Âşık olsun, sâdık olsun, öyle yanmış aşka ki Kalbi her dem sırr-ı Mirâcdan vurur hiç durmadan
Bir zaman ummân-ı aşkın sahilinde oynadım Her çeşitten bin mücevher, inci-boncuk topladım Ansızın lûtfuyla Hakkın şöyle bir baktım suya Aşkın ummanında hayretten donup kaldım bir an
Kim ki "Netsem, Mustafânın râzın alsam?" der durur Mutlakâ ondan onun Allâhı da râzî olur! Cümle âlem rahmetiyçün gönderilmiş bil ki O, Mustafâ âlem yüzünden, âlem Ondan, bilmiş ol! İKİNCİ SELAM Sultansın bana, sultansın bana Canda gönülde îmansın bana Nefhedersen sen diriltirsin beni Bir can ne demek, bin cansın bana _Cinuçen Tanrıkorur'un Türkçe nazmen meâli
FIRST SELAM_ENGLISH The lovers (of God) are boasting from (saying), "Blessed is our Lord the Most High!" The sincere and truthful ones are crying out (to God), "We are ready to hear the Revelation of God for us!" Undoubtedly, from the burning of the heart, the lovers and the sincere ones are pounding with (the shout of) "Behold!" on the drum of "Glorified (is God) who took for a journey (His servant at night)!"
One time I was a diver at the shore of the Ocean of Love; I saw a hundred thousand pearls and gems from the Ocean of Love. Suddenly, by the Power of God, I gazed once at him: I saw a world of bewilderment continuing (by means of) the Ocean of Love.
Whoever searches for the path of (seeking) the acceptance of the Chosen (Prophet of God) day and night is undoubtedly accepted by means of the refuge of the God of the Chosen (Prophet). He has come for the sake of Mercy to the whole world: the Chosen (Prophet) for the world and the world for the sake of the chosen (Prophet). SECOND SELAM You are my sultan, you are my sultan. In my heart and soul, You are my faith. (When) you breathe into me, I become alive. What is (the worth of just) one soul?—(since) you are a hundred times my soul. _English Translation by Ibrahim Gamard
