On Thursday, August 6th, the Duke Energy Convention Center hosted an event to showcase Cincinnati as a premier destination for national conventions, trade shows, regional meetings, and other events. The theme of the event was Experience the Big Bang in Cincinnati and was attended by more than 300 meeting professionals.
The event featured a panel discussion with leaders from Cincinnatis hospitality community that included Duke Energy Convention Center General Manager Ric Booth and representatives from Ovations Food Service, the Cincinnati USA Convention and Visitors Bureau, Accent on Cincinnati, the George Fern Company, Prestige Audio Visual, and many of Cincinnatis first class attractions. This open forum gave attendees a chance to ask questions and allowed the panel to showcase the unity and wide range of activities that are only available in Cincinnati. The event concluded with a reception in the Duke Energy Convention Centers Grand Ballroom where Cincinnatis hospitality partners were able to network directly with potential customers.
