This channel is here as a base for fans who want the NBA in Cincinnati. Cincinnati has been a two sport city for years. But, their used to be a NBA team called the Cincinnati Royals. They then left town to go to KC. They became the KC Kings. Soon they moved to Sacramento and the rest, as they say, is history. A financing plan for a new arena would be less then $300 million. That is far less then what The Queen city spent on Great American Ballpark and Paul Brown Stadium. Cincinnati could be better at getting fan to support them then:
Memphis
Milwaukee
Sacramento
Charlotte
New Orleans
What do those teams have in common? Either their only major pro sports franchise is the NBA or they have NBA and the NFL. None can hold a MLB franchise. Also they are generally newer sports cities.
Memphis: 1997
Milwaukee: 1968
Sacramento: 1985
Charlotte: 1988
New Orleans: 1967
On the other hand, Major pro sports in Cincinnati:
1882
I hope everybody agrees. Thank you!
