My husband only listens to classic country (hates most "new" country except Alan Jackson or Texas George, etc) & this is what country is supposed to be, not some jokers in their baseball hat & some distressed jeans & new cowboy boots singing about stuff they don't know anything ...

I don't get the big rivalry between SC/NC people. Though I may be a Yankee, I do prefer SC, it's beautiful & the people are the nicest people I've ever met. NC is nice, don't get me wrong, but more like the Chicago burbs I live in. SC is just more "country" or "southern" if you will in my opinion.
