New territory and an urban pioneering spirit have always been synonymous with Chuckie Perez. Whether it was singing in his father's church, headlining, or sharing the arena stage internationally with major Christian Music Artists, Chuckie has demonstrated his desire to be "real" when ministering to his audience. This commitment for sharing the Gospel continues with a passion in his latest CD release "Good". Gospel and Latin influences are evident as Chuckie celebrates God's Goodness, His Grace, and Faithfulness. "Enter in", the first single released to Christian radio internationally is a song about repentance and submission to Christ. "When I Praise" is a proclamation to give Praise regardless of the circumstances in our lives. "It's You" pledges the heartfelt desire for dedication to the Lord. With its powerful message and beautiful instrumental landscape, "Good" is a signature and milestone release for Chuckie Perez.
Chuckie also continues with that pioneering spirit as he pastors the thriving "Freedom Church" located in the Southern California. Each week he encourages believers to be passionate about their Faith. Perez continues to perform concert dates throughout the country, but is excited to let "Freedom Church" fellowship be at the top of his priority list. "My desire is to just obey God with this great responsibility and continue to serve Him. But I have not walked away recording music. I know He still has a purpose for that part of my life." Chuckie is committed to bringing the message of Christ to every corner of the world through his concerts and speaking engagements!
Beginning his career as "Chuckie P", the California-based artist helped open the doors for urban artists in Christian music. Releasing English and Spanish-language projects on a variety of labels including Maranatha! Music, Essential Records, and Diadem Music Group. Chuckie has toured with the likes of the Newsboys and shared the stage with Dc Talk and the Katinas., including touring internationally. He has also ministered with evangelist James Robison and Motivational speaker Dave Roever. He was chosen as a performer for World Youth Day before a quarter million people. In recent years, Perez has penned tracks for feature films and popular network television programming airing on ABC and CBS . Internationally he has scored for television programming throughout Europe. He has received favorable national press including Billboard and CNN. Chuckie's ministry was featured in a L.A. Times cover story, who touted "When it comes to the message, Chuckie Perez is miles away from the more famous ... artists of these times."
