There is no accoumting for the inanity of the Byrdbandwebmaster. They have been attacking Claire and Catie for years. Seems like they would spend more time on self improvement rather than denigrating others.

What the hell is up with the Byrd Band Webmaster claiming that Jonathon Ratliff won the outstanding sophmore of the year instead of Claire, who was the winner?Somebody ought to get those kids their own website since their own director James Willett won't stand up for them. What an unbelievable liar that webmaster must be.Totally nuts!

Appreciate your sentiments. I know you can't say much being there and all but understand how badly those individuals hurt the C E Byrd band. No. 1 (Actually 2 no. 2's & 1 no. 1) on very easy music they had been playing ALL YEAR! It was grade 5 based on school size, not difficulty level. The they recieved a 3 in sightreading. Sightreading is by far the most important score. Wish you happiness and success.

I hate what the webmaster at Byrd did to your daughters. Wasn't there anything the LMEAA or the Mr. Willett would do to stop them? We miss them. Love watching their videos. Shame on Badgley and the Flairs.What they did was really mean to two young ladies who really loved Byrd.

You are very welcome! I believe in supporting youngsters trying to reach towards their dreams. She is a fantastic young lady whose soul shines through the music she loves. She has inspired the kids that listen to her and I hope she can continue to light the way for others.
