Amen to that.

As filmmaker myself (amateur but studying) it seems to me that CGI has become a nasty habit that allows laziness so certain things don't need to be done on the day and can be comfortably changed on a computer.
These Batman films are helping preserve greatness in cinema much like Batman is preserving what good is in Gotham. A nerdy observation but it still stands!

Gotham shall prevail!
