About Chronic Pain Ireland
CPI is a registered charity and the principal support group in Ireland for over 400,000* people of all ages suffering with chronic and neuropathic pain. Currently there is no outright cure for the conditions however the condition can be treated and managed.
The charity was formed in 1992 and provides a range of services including seminars, public awareness evenings, regular support meetings, self-help workshops, quarterly newsletter and support phone line.
The charity lobbies for better services and development of a multi-disciplinary approach to treating people with this disease. Striving to educate and raise awareness of chronic and neuropathic pain amongst the medical profession, patients and general populance.
