fight club is a mediocre film but can you imagine a band that blended more than the very best of ramones and velvet underground whilst clearly surpassing those influences both musically and lyrically? That band would be half decent.

I suppose everythings a joke these days but these days I, for one, struggle to get through the first 4 tracks on surfer rosa! If you listen to it enough you may feel the same. Arguably the premier recording of the recording era.

only jesting guys - Arctic Monkeys were the first awful contemporary band that came into my head.

'Messages' is genius, not unlike most of their first two albums.

IMO, the best ever track from one of the best ever synthpop bands.

I really don't understand why it isn't as famous or as 'viewed' as many of their other tracks.

Also, it's a pure synthpop track & the guitars ruin it.
