I started skating after watching some YouTube videos on MK. I fell in love with skating because of Michelle Kwan. Later, I found Sasha and adore her too.

It was mid-2007 when I started skating, despite objections from parents. My mum didn't want lessons because it is too expensive. I begged and begged, and after O Levels, I got lessons. It was Dec. In late Dec or Jan, I stopped skating because my RF4 had been too big to center spins and skate properly. I resumed lessons after skates arrive in Jan/Feb '08.

Somehow, I believe that I started skating because I was unfit for dance and PE for the whole year of 2007. Skating isn't the best sport to choose, but I love it. I have developed knee problems from dance. I have plica's syndrome, patellofemoral pain syndrome, and plantar fasciitis. Of course, there's one or two I missed out because of the difficult pronunciation.

I skate despite of it all because I love figure skating.
