Inspired by the likes of Girl Power icons Avril Lavigne, P!NK and seminal 'naughties' punk rockers PARAMORE; Chrissy's vocal overtones project a level of richness and maturity that belies her youth, sporting a gritty earthiness and depth that resonates into a song delivery packed with sheer strength and dynamic sounds.
A growing talent as a Songwriter, Christina's already impressive catalogue of self-penned tunes bare tales of love, loss and scorned feelings in an eclectic mix of original material and reworked classic covers. Whether it be to the driving beat of a skillfully-honed " Ode to Angst-Ridden Youth" , or in the thoughtful, emotion-charged laments of a ballad; Christina's voice is lush and magnetic as it rides the rollercoaster of phrasing and intonation to pitch-perfect harmony. Truly a remarkable feat from one so small in frame and stature -- but immense in heart and soul.
Rising from the stage ensemble ranks, to the intimacy of the accoustic arena, and now at the helm of 5pcePop Rock outfit LOSING SIGHT, Chrissy's immediate attention is channelled towards getting into the Studio to lay down her first Independent EP release. The first single HIS SONG is now complete and in circulation as at February 2011
A hefty touring schedule of Live Performances has commenced in earnest with Christina to showcase ALL her new and recent material at a Headline Gig in early April 2011. With LOSING SIGHT, she will also grace the Stages at selected Music Festivals around Sydney. Already among them is the BRING IT ON & BLACKTOWN CITY Festivals, Castle Grande and Mars Hill Cafe. In mid 2011 - Christina takes on the formidable task of the National TV Talent Search X- FACTOR to reach a broader audience across the country and to pit her skills against some of Australia's brightest, gifted and unsigned Artists.
