Driven, Determined and Dedicated are just a few words to sum up this young rising star.

Christina Elise a multifaceted entertainer, this singer, songwriter has captivated several audiences with her rich, authentic vocals and unique appeal. Writing and producing all of the songs on of her albums this singer holds no, one title.

My passion is to make music that actually talks about something, to help people and bring forth love, life and truth back to what music really represents

Growing up in a very musical household, the granddaughter of a famed saxophonist, Elvin Shepherd, who taught and mentored the likes of Miles Davis, Grover Washington Jr. and other jazz greats; the legacy of music was left for her only to follow the calling she was destined to have. Her father, a professional piano and organist player and older sister, a singer and pianist, also greatly influenced her love for music and confirmed that the gift of music was in her blood.

A native of Buffalo, NY Christina grew up in a small city with big dreams. Throughout her childhood, Christina Elise performed and recorded some her first songs at the tender age of six in a small church choir group made up of her father, sisters and friends.

We didnt have much growing up, but we always had God, love and of course music

She also enjoyed attending some of her father and grandfather's concerts and band sessions which also began to nurture her future performances and natural showmanship.

Early on Christina expressed a strong love and interest in music and grew up on the Motown sound-R&B, jazz, pop and rock music and a variety of artists and music styles. Many of her musical influences and style was from such legendary artists ssuch as Stevie Wonder, Prince, Smokey Robinson, Debarge, Tamia, Mariah Carey and countless others.

And as she got older she put her pen to paper to write some of her most artistically-provoking and deepest songs as it related to her life, her faith and past struggles.

My father and grandfather introduced me to a whole new world of sound. My sister gave way to my unique style. And my life experiences gave way to my storytelling in the form of lyrics...

Christina also attended a Performing Arts high school in which she majored in vocal music, with attention in theater, visual arts and communications. While there she performed in several concerts, shows and musicals. And at just the age of 15, she was even given the privelage of performing-singing and dancing back-up in her school's choir, with Kenny Rogers (Kenny Roger's Christmas Concert).

Constantly staying motivated, passionate and faithful in her music-Christina continued to stay busy-in and out of the music box. She also participated in pageants, modeling, acting/imporv, dance, production (tv and music) as well as broadcast television, in which she majored in-in addtion to music, while attending college. Including, countless other activities she partipated in were community involvement, peer mediation and ministry.

In addition Christina has received several accolades, recognition and awards for the work that she has done as both as an artist and performer/entertainer.

After compiling thousands of songs, Christina Elise went back to the basics in recording songs for her latest demo-compilation, that scored instant radio hits like the smooth sounding ballad of "Why" and upbeat enlightening vocals for "Take Me Away."

Now in TX, Christina has again taken her music to the next level by emerging onto the Dallas music scene and performing in various shows; talent showcases, concerts, community events, etc.

Continuing to make her mark in the music and entertainment world, Christina Elise continues to astound people with her genuine style, natural presence and undeniable talent.

Christina Elise is now back in the studio, working on the highly anticipated release of her new self-titled debut album which will be out this year.
