Vanessa Bodmer

I was born in Washington DC and raised in Southern, MD. I started singing on my own at the age of 2 and later attended a performing arts school at the age of 5. During those years I was able to learn how to play the violin, clarinet, piano, participate in choir, and was very active in creative writing. This allowed me to learn how to harmonize, improvise, and express myself through writing poems and lyrics. I continued singing in choirs until my college years, where I was classicaly trained. I began writing my own music when I was 12. I'm very ambitious and have taken every opportunity such as auditioning for Making The Band, The Voice, American Idol multiple times and making it past a few rounds. I've had the opportunity to record with several producers such as Robert Jazayeri, Sean Mather, and Grammy winning producer Frankie Biggz. Right now I'm working on my first offical EP. My first single will be out in 2012.
