Motel Americana - Award Winning Web Series
MOTEL AMERICANA, The Web Series: Each episode takes place in the same seedy motel off the Jersey Turnpike... but each occupies its own stylistic universe, each is colored by its own respective American genre, spanning from found-footage doc, to absurdist comedy, to silent film melodrama... and beyond. The result is an odd and lovely celebration of American Cinema, a micro-cinematic tour de force, a series that'll find its home with cinephiles savvy to cult, midnight-movie experiences and those who bask in the glory of the (capital) B-movie and trash-art culture.
As an anthology-feature MOTEL AMERICANA won Best NJ Feature Film at the Garden State Film Festival recently. It also won best Drami-Comedy at the Indie-Gathering and screened at The NewFilmmakers NY program at Anthology Archives Theater. The shorts have screened individually at many festivals and short film programs.
