Me playing church organs (or trying to!) around the UK and the odd attempt at playing a cinema organ!

One of my biggest gripes is organists who view the organ they play as 'their' organ and deny others access to it. I will happily name and shame anywhere where attitudes like this still exist! This is NOT Christian whatsoever!

I live with my partner Michelle and our 9 (yes 9!) cats - recently moved from Manchester to Bolton and organist at a church in Wigan.

Aside of the church organ I have many interests including looking after my 3 series BMW. I am also vegetarian and try and buy products not tested on animals.

I am predomenantly a church organist but I do like to dabble with the theatre organ now and again.

As you will see from my videos I am mainly a 'hymn machine' but like to have the occassional try at something a bit challenging!

One of the things I am doing now is to try and film as many organs as possible so that there will always be a permanent record of them with so many instruments under threat from either church closure or being replaced by electronic instruments. I wanted to ensure that these wonderful instruments could be at least seen on film for many years to come playing what they were designed to do - accompany hymns!

NOTE: Im not on facebook after being the victim of having my profile 'cloned'. I prefer to converse with people who can think for themselves and not believe something just because facebook says so!

NOTE TO CHURCHES: Adding these videos on to youtube is purely my interest and enabling to share my enthusiasm for the organ with fellow enthusiasts - I do not make any monetary profit from my videos nor do I seek to do so.
