He needs a bit more reverb and delay, that tone is way to earthy..

Andy plays incredibly well, but his bends are quite often out of pitch..I know ot sounds ridiculous but it's true. He doesn't get to the right note when he bends.

Wow, that's almost impossibly fast AND clean playing. Notice the lack of a unseamly amounts of delay, reverb, flange and chorus that some other "shredders" hide behind.

He is double tracking the solo..Which is even harder to do. Try it and you'll appreciate this even more.

I actually doubt that Steve himself would be able to sit down in that same chair and do it better on the fly like that..

this is the playing that defines him in my opinion, the best he ever did, this record.

I absolutely LOVE how many of these Yngwie inspired (in a good way) Japanese players use the really raw and not so distorted tone similar to Yngwies tone on his earlier records..Single coils, warm overdriven marshall-kind of tone..Nowhere to hide! You have to develop clean technique otherwise it ...

Its his NEW style then, because his playing these days are nothing compared to his playing on Passion and Warfare..You call his playing on P&W "unoriginal" and "Boring" hu? Not to mention his playing woth David Lee Roth, also great to me, but apparently "Boring" to you. Loser.

Tone is way too indistinct, processed and fluffy..He should listen to some of the Guthrie clips that led me to this vid for clear "nowhere to hide tone"..Playing is very competent, bit Im not so keen on legato-heavy playing.

If you walk in all proud and self assured, compare yourself to Justin Timberlake and so on..Then sing and do that dance..Then you get this kind of comment I guess.

yeah, quite insane control..If you listen to it at the end while not watching it sounds EXACTLY like he just taps the high note on a fret, but he is bending it..How many people can do that?

This is obviously an improvised peace..And its amazing..The touch, bends, vibrato is mindblowing..There are a lot of famous guitarists (that I really like by the way), like Vai and even Satch, that have terrible instincts when its comes to improvised solos..Especially Vai that feels the need to d...
