People need to realize movie trailers were a HELL of a lot different back then than they are today. Our A.D.D. addled world can't handle more than 30 seconds of anything and even then it has to have explosions or bouncing breasts in it.

So what sort of practical purpose does this serve? I mean it's really cool, I'm not saying it's useless by any means, I'm just curious what "real" application these could serve beyond expensive play things.
