Homemade Stirrer for Homebrew Yeast Starters
120mm fan, 5lb pull rare earth magnets, stir bar, 25 ohm pot and a 12v supply. Goes a little slower on 7v.

Are you using a magnetic stir bar - if so what size? Also does the stir bar lose magnetic 'traction' and spin at higher speed?

@ollie082 Got the smallest pump they had from Harbor Freight. Was around $15 if I remember correctly.
