I think the staging worked well. I liked the way they portrayed the deaths of Orsini and friends, and that they dragged the corpses back to the stage before Lucrezia sings the final cabaletta. The way Lucrezia dies was also a bit of a surprise, and a bit melodramatic, but I think it worked well...
