Oh, and if I missed SO MUCH after 18, why is 90% of their act pre-18 songs? I'd rather listen to scratchy LP's of really GREAT MUSIC than to let Jason Scheff torture me on my iPod. I've got the Chicago/EWF and Live by Request and Chicago RAW DVD's. All I can say about that is THANK GOD for the Fast Forward button. Hey yak262143 - put down the Kool-aid and turn up your hearing aid - if you're not tone-deaf you won't like 50% of what you hear.

If they cared about the fans they'd find someone who wasn't an embarrassment behind the microphone. I love the band but sorry, I'm not tone deaf. I stand by my opinion: the instruments are as good as the vocals are bad. Their last 20 years have not been a total waste of time. Night and Day was excellent.

Fayette202...........keep your negative comments off the site because if it wasn't for Kid69 you would be listening to your scratchy albums in your basement. No respect for Chicago at all bashing them...I for one am happy they are still out touring.....after 40 years it gets old but they do it for us the fans. I don't see to many bands from the 70's-80's touring like Chicago. You missed a lot of great songs and albums after 18 thats too bad!! Kid keep up the great work and for not being able to read music you were fantastic with the medlies...waiting for a new one....later!!

Thanks SO MUCH chicagokid1969 for posting this great vintage footage. Where in the world did you get it!? I've purchased some of their recent DVD's. It's a bittersweet experience. The instruments are like wine - better with age and SO GOOD - and the vocals are SO BAD. It's great to see footage of the original members. I saw them in concert in their heyday - Tulsa in '72, Des Moines in '73, Minneapolis in '75, Saint Paul in '76. What a show they would do. Good riddance to Champlin - I thought he'd never leave. Scheff wouldn't make it past the first round of American idol. If only he'd follow suit. Heck, bring PC and Danny back. They're not doin' anything. In my way of thinking, Chicago died after 17 - which was BY FAR their greatest effort. (16, not far behind.)
