From a Strobist point of view, and as a lover of 35mm lenses, I got to say: The Fuji X100 is the better camera. The sync speed is amazing, and only rivalled by PhaseOne and Hasselblad. Awesome! Tried one today. Will buy one soon.

I beg to differ. The ideal normal lens for 35mm film/sensor is 43mm. So by using a 50mm your on the long side, but a 35mm lens would work also. And a 35mm lens works better for me.
