Hello! I am Sasha Softpaw, a yellow Bengal Tigress. I just moved to the Dyersburg, TN area recently. I am a furry, but not one of the furverts. I don't really have a problem with yiff art anymore (I try to avoid it when I can, but sometimes it can't be helped... like googling for furry stuff. =p); as my keychain says, "I used to be disgusted, but now I'm just amused." That's my view on serveral things in the world, Yiff art being one of them. It's gotten to be a joke with me that I can't take seriously. I don't normally respond too much to what I've learned to be "trolling." or being hated/burned by furs & non-furs alike. This has yet to happen to me personally. I have a deep passion for my furriness & to my knowledge, it doens't conflict with my Christian beliefs.

There are Christian furries, it has a space on most pocket planners for conventions as a Christian furry meet and greet.
My bestest friend in the whole wide world is an Agnostic Furry, Crittenz the Walft (a wolf/cat). SO you know I'm not a bible-Thumper that's going to shove your nose in the good book. I know that it works for some people.. but with most people; chasing them down, screaming bible verses at them, and telling them that they're going to Hell is just going to scare them away. Jesus didn't MAKE anyone follow him. God gave us free will, so you can make up your own mind whether to follow him or not. *firm nod* He's always there if you need Him.

In other words, don't knock my beliefs, because I sure as Hell won't knock yours. Doesn't matter what you are.

I love dancing at furry cons, in or out of suit. And no- these cons are NOTHING like the CSI episode, there's no one running around in the strange, halloweenish plastic masks; Yes, there are fursuits & fursuiters inside those suits, but most people aren't doing questionable things while wearing them (logically they are too bulky, hindersome, & HOT) furries also pay way TOO much for them to mess up their nice suits. There are no piles of us on the floor doing weird things to each other (if you do see what is deemed a "furpile" it's just done for kicks, attention, & pictures. We're not as bad as the media & artists make us out to be. =D I LOOOOOOVE glowsticks & have a knack for rigging them up in creative ways. I love being creative & open minded, but I do have my own set of morals & values that I will not willingly go past. You have to say no sometimes. I'm living with my mate, Kuori Yoru. Who is actually NOT a furry, but doesn't think I'm too strange for wanting to be a kitty most of the time. The only thing he doesn't get is fursuiting. *lol*

I have my own suit now, StarrDust. She is 100% Kid friendly! That's actually why she was made, for family events and public outings! You can watch her dance on this channel. *happy* I'm going to begin construction on my next suit, Hiram; a wolf/husky mix. His SL version is on here too.

Furries are just normal people who haven't/felt the need to grow out of playing pretend!
