Most of what you see here is going to be mainly chemistry related and my life in general. I hope my videos will be helpful in some way and thought provoking. I also hope to track my progress with finishing my undergrad degree and getting into a graduate school in Japan.

My other goal is to hopefully get more people interested in the natural sciences and grad school in general. Education is an awesome thing, and the world could certainly use more educated people.

Thank you for uploading these great videos on experiences in Japan. I just got into Japan about a week ago, I am in fact typing this from a hotel in Asakusabashi Tokyo. I have only had a semester of Japanese prior to coming here, it is good to hear that you had made the trip here after only a semester as well. So far it has been a great experience. The language barrier is massive, though I do not think people should let that deter them from coming to experience Japan. So many people are so willing and eager to help that there is always a way to get where you need to go. This is the beginning of a three month journey for me in Japan, so hopefully it will be a great success! Thanks again for the great videos, Cheers!

Did you make it to Japan safely? What's the absolutely 1st thing you had to do when you got there? Do you notice anything different about Japan now than four years ago? Have fun in Japan.

question. . . did you find Shikansen models, I am a train fanatic, especially the Shikansen class, they are very unique trains that only you can find in Japan, i have many models and my collection has just begun, but, it is very difficult to get model trains here in Canada from Japan, it is also very expensive, I am wondering if there is somewhere in Tokyo where they sell all these trains :) thanks for your videos

What sort of chemist are you? As in industrial chemistry, or are you a pharmacist? Or are you just studying one of these? (Sorry in Australia 'chemist' also means pharmacist so I'm confused).

Did you just decide one day to move to Japan from Texas?
