@forevercuz: it's still a big hit, personally I would rather people get up than not for 2 reasons

1) it was most likely a clean hit, stick/elbows down and what not

2) never good to see someone get hurt (true hockey fan mentality)

@Kartracer6; hi again...sounds like you have clean hitter envy, I'm guessing your team doesn't have a clean heavy hitter but you want one. This is not suspension worthy an all.

@createdthistocomment; usually when he leaves his feet is after the hit when the impact pops him up. He's only jumped into one hit that I can remember

@Iamchevyman5: agree 100%. I'll admit there are some that are borderline charging, can't think of which one right now but I know he jumped into one (just one though). Kronwall is definitely a solid hitter, imagine of we had him and vlad out there together and Stuart too!

Thing that annoys me is how the player that comes in and starts throwing punches doesn't get a penalty half the time. I hate that players do that on clean hits in general. Seek retribution later with another clean hit on the player who laid that hit earlier.

@dragonarmed: yzermans left skate hit the back of vancouvers skate which lead to the fall. Judging by vancouvers jerseys I would say this was probably the year where he played with his right knee at the worst and needed surgery at the end of the year. Still made a great play though!

Yzerman should be number one. he didnt play through pain just in the 2002 playoffs, he played through pain from 1997 till he retired, it was the worst from 2001 to 2002, but he always played in pain pretty much.

@ICrosbyI15 lets see him keep that pace up for the length of careers that the 3 other players had. i think your point is mute until he gets at least 600 games under his belt. also he is 5th in PPG stats, Bobby Orr is ahead of him with 1.393, crosby has 1.391.

@crosbyfanatic87 agree it hurt (especially having a bad knee myself) but it was still clean, crosby tried to avoid it and just couldnt get out of the way in time
