About Me:

Let me start off by saying that my passion in life is reptiles. I love reptiles more then life itself. One of the only things in life that makes me happy is reptiles, especially the genus Morelia. For the past 3 years I have been obsessed with carpet pythons and scrub pythons. To me they are the most amazing snakes in the world. They are beautiful, intelligent, active and have an awesome personality.

Hopefully, in the next few months I can start to build up my collection a little bit more. At the moment I only have one Coastal Carpet Python (Homicide) and one Leopard Gecko (Dexter). I plan on getting a Barneck scrub python and maybe a pair of Jungles.

I am always wanting to learn more and more about reptiles and I love helping others that want to learn about reptiles as well. I am 23 and I have had reptiles since I was 6 years old. I started off with Colubrids and worked my way up to boas and pythons. I am yet to own a venomous (hot) species. If I could own one (hot) it would be a Gaboon Viper. They are a very impressive snake that command a lot of respect and they have always been on my wish list. If you want to know anything about the genus Morelia or you or a newbie just getting into reptiles and you need help with a question just ask and I will do my best to help you.

I'm very sorry, but I'm afraid I can't remember what I wrote to you, or to what comment I replied. :/

I saw your comment on that douchebags channel, and would like to inform you that not all British people are as idiotic and jealous as him. The majority of Brits actually like America, they're just not heard as much as the Anti-Americans. Please, don't asssume an entire country share the same views as that man.

Oh and lets remember the ld50 snake venom test is used ONLY on mice... It doesn't even use other animals... It is just based on tests done only on mice...

Thanks for the info. I hear all kinds of estimates. Some say there are 50 venomous snakes, some say there are 200, 500, 300, it goes on and on.

No worries man, I didn't even see your posts before that I was posting after a comment I read by someone else :) But I totally agree with what you are talking about, it's easy for people to blow off someone else's opinion on youtube without even thinking that they might actually know something about what they are talking about. Are you involved with snakes professionally? I have a friend who works at the local zoo and is mad about snakes, always gets home covered in snake urine ;)

@ChelseaGrinislife FOUND THIS "The version discussed here claims that the snake was caught on an Australian sheep farm after the owner put up an electric fence to kerb the mysterious disappearance of some of his sheep. A number of other versions have similar cover stories set in different areas of the world.

In fact, the photographs were taken on the Silent Valley Game Ranch in Limpopo Province, South Africa. A web page on the game ranch website explains:
The snake in this picture had eaten a full grown Impala ewe and, sadly, caught itself in an electric fence."

Perhaps the newspapers here got it wrong too? Whatever the reason, thanks for correcting me. Walking in the bushveld in Africa can be hazardous with this around.
