Violence is within human nature, yes. But so is empathy,capacity to recognize or understand another's state of mind or emotion.
9/11 wasn't an act of violence, it was an act of evil. you can argue that violence is part of "evil" , but then again since evil is a social construction, part of the human nature will be within it.
